TWO SHOT WEST - SPRING 2023
In the spring of 2023, I had the opportunity to intern for Emmy-winning director Scott Rice at his production company Two Shot West. He is a professor at the University of Texas at Austin, teaching the Script to Screen class alongside Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey and Professor Laura Bright.
After impressing Rice with my portfolio, I was invited to join his company as a production assistant. I had the opportunity to assist on set for commercial shoots, critique and give feed back on feature film scripts, work on Rice’s director reels, plus many more behind the scenes jobs. I’ve always been interested in film and television and being in front of the camera so I was able to get a newfound appreciation for those behind it.
